Evening Care Assistant
Location:Ashton Manor Care Home, Lancaster, Lancashire
Salary:£13.45per hour and overtime paid at £14.95per hour
Hours:Permanent 6pm-10pm shifts on a two-week rolling rota:

  • Week 1:Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Week 2:Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
About the Role

Evermore Care is seeking a compassionateCare Assistantto join the team atAshton Manor, our state-of-the-art care home in Lancaster, working on a Twilight shift patternof 6pm to 10pm, on a 2-week rolling rota. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to elderly residents in a modern and innovative environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in residents' lives while working as part of a supportive and dedicated team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional personal care, including washing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linens.
  • Build strong rapport with residents, staff, and families while maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Collaborate seamlessly within the multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.
