About Us

Crossways Care Home in Sheringham is a warm and welcoming residential care home dedicated to providing high‑quality, person‑centred care for our residents. We pride ourselves on our friendly and supportive environment — for both our residents and our staff.

We are now inviting applications from motivated and caring individuals who are starting out in their Health and Social Care careers. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates with a Level 1 or Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care to gain hands‑on experience in a professional care setting.

Job Overview

As a Care Assistant at Crossways Care Home, you will play a key role in supporting our residents with daily living activities, promoting dignity, independence, and overall wellbeing. You will receive full training and guidance from experienced senior staff to help you grow in confidence and develop your career in care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Support residents with meals, mobility, and social activities.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship.
  • Help maintain accurate care records and communicate any changes in residents’ needs.
  • Work as part of a caring and professional team to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
What We’re Looking For
  • A genuine interest in caring for others and making a positive difference.
  • A Level 1 or Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or currently studying towards one).
  • Friendly, patient, and compassionate personality.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliability and a willingness to learn.
  • Must be aged 18 or over.
