Job summary

A leading home care provider in Flitwick is seeking a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to join their expert team. You will provide high-quality care tailored to individual needs, assist with personal care, help with meal preparation, and support medication management. The role requires a full UK driving licence and offers flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs
  • Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
  • Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition
  • Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal
  • Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning
  • Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for
  • Full and Part time hours including 7am starts and 10pm finishes, evenings and alternate weekends only
  • Weekdays £13.20 per hour
  • Bank Holidays £21.50 per hour
  • Full comprehensive training and shadowing
  • CRB/DBS check paid for
  • Work smartphone provided if required
  • Paid holiday
  • Paid mileage - 30p per mile
  • Company pool cars available for use if ever needed
  • Attendance bonus paid annually before Christmas
  • Ongoing support and encouraged progression
Requirements
