Overview

Care and Support Worker - Ferndown at Candlelight Care

Salary: £12.40 per hour + paid travel time and mileage. Job Type: Full and part time positions available. Shifts typically run from 7am - 2pm and/or 4pm - 10pm, with a commitment to working alternate weekends. Driving is not always essential depending on location.

Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional and practical support to vulnerable adults in their own homes.
  • Assist with personal care (washing, toileting, dressing), domestic tasks, and food preparation, tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Assist with medication and use of mobility aids and equipment where required.
  • Report to the Registered Manager any significant changes in a client’s health or circumstances.
  • Support clients to maintain independence while safeguarding their wellbeing.
