THE C4 APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMME

If you are looking for an opportunity to gain work experience and a qualification, then an apprenticeship at Channel 4 might be for you. Our Apprenticeships are full-time, with four days per week spent working in a Channel 4 department and one day per week completing the formal learning parts of the apprenticeship. You’ll spend 60% of your working week in your office base and 40% working from home. The formal training will include workshops, tutorials, webinars, coaching and, in some cases, residential boot camps. The qualification being offered is described below.

Eligibility
  • You must be 18 years old or over at the time the scheme starts to apply. There is no upper age limit.
  • You’ll need to have a Grade C (4) or above in Maths & English GCSE.
  • You can’t have already completed the qualification being offered or similar at the same or higher level.

Department Description

Channel 4 Streaming is home to original and exclusive shows, box sets, live and catch-up TV. It is available on 20+ platforms and reaches over 5 million monthly viewers. The Channel 4 Streaming Product department focuses on a seamless and engaging user experience to encourage viewing and retention. This role sits within the Growth Team, responsible for driving increased viewing from our 26m registered users, including delivering digital marketing campaigns to attract new users, retain existing users, and upsell to Channel 4+.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of digital marketing campaigns that drive acquisition and retention through channels such as email, push notifications and in-app messages.
  • Assist with the build, deployment and reporting of Product Marketing campaigns, including PPC, SEO, social and in-stream promos.
  • Update existing Product marketing campaigns to keep content, imagery and copy current with the content schedule and business priorities.
  • Create and present analytics reports to assess campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the research team to run regular user surveys and present results to the team.
  • Support the operational running of Channel 4+, including campaign planning, setup, reporting and competitor reviews.
  • Produce regular competitor reviews to identify trends in the video on demand marketplace.
  • Support the wider Growth Team with ad hoc projects and requests.
Essential Experience & Skills

  • An interest in subscription businesses and how they operate.
Qualification Offered

Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3. Length: 18 months.
