We are seeking a Business Unit Financial Controller to oversee all aspects of financial management across the Ovarro Group and its country entities. This role requires a commercially progressive mindset and the ability to drive ideas to fruition within a collaborative team.

Overview

Location: Sheffield, England, United Kingdom. The Financial Controller will lead key reporting processes, support strategic decision‑making, ensure strong financial governance, and partner with senior stakeholders at both Ovarro and Indicor. The role involves planning and delivering financial forecasts, presenting performance to the board, and driving continuous improvement in reporting and data accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead key reporting processes, support strategic decision-making, and ensure strong financial governance across the business, partnering with senior stakeholders at Ovarro and Indicor.
• Oversee planning and delivery of financial forecasts at all horizons: quarterly, annual budgets, and long-range plans.
• Present financial performance and projections at board and business updates.
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting, including greater automation and enabling self-service access to financial data.
• Partner with the Ovarro Managing Director to shape and lead financial strategy, manage the finance team, and support sustainable business growth.

Qualifications

• Experience as FC or assistant to FC with experience in an international products and software environment.
• Experience leading a small team.
• Professional qualification in Finance or Accounting with 2+ years post-qualification experience.
• Working knowledge of a range of software packages including Excel.
• Use of SAGE would be preferable.
