A respected safeguarding board in Norwich is seeking a Business Lead to oversee the Norfolk Safeguarding Adults Board. Business Lead | 9513 | Permanent Contract | 37 hours per week | £56,912 to £62,618 per annum | (Grade M) | County Hall, Norwich

We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead the Norfolk Safeguarding Adults Board (NSAB) as its Board Manager. This pivotal role offers the chance to shape strategic priorities, oversee governance, and drive continuous improvement in safeguarding practice across Norfolk. Working closely with the Independent Chair and partner agencies, you will ensure the board fulfils its statutory duties under the Care Act 2014, delivering real impact for adults at risk of abuse or neglect. If you are passionate about making a difference and influencing change at a strategic level, this is an opportunity to lead work that truly matters.

Some evening and/or weekend work may be required.

About You

You will bring extensive experience in adult safeguarding, a deep understanding of legislation and policy, and proven ability to lead within complex multi‑agency partnerships. Strong analytical skills, political awareness, and the confidence to challenge and influence at senior levels are essential. We are looking for someone who combines strategic vision with operational grip and a creative thinker who can manage Safeguarding Adults Reviews, oversee performance frameworks, and champion learning and improvement.
