Job description

Advert Acteon are looking to hire a Business Analyst on a full time, permanent basis. The Business Analyst will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements, analyse business processes, and identify opportunities for improvement using Dynamics Business Central.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, application support, and a deep understanding of Dynamics Business Central. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation, support, and optimization of Dynamics Business Central solutions.

This role offers a hybrid model and is flexible in location, ideally you will be location near an Acteon facility/office within the UK or Europe.

Duties & Main Responsibilities
•Translate business needs into technical specifications and functional requirements.
•Provide first and second-line support for Dynamics Business Central applications.
•Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
•Work with the IT team to manage and prioritize support tickets and ensure timely resolution.
•Assist in the implementation and configuration of Dynamics Business Central solutions.
•Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure successful deployment of new features and updates.
•Continuously monitor system performance and recommend optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
•Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements.
•Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, issues, and resolutions.
•Conduct training sessions and create user documentation to support end-users in utilizing Dynamics Business Central effectively.
•Manage and coordinate small to medium-sized projects related to Dynamics Business Central.
•Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

Required
•Proficiency in Dynamics Business Central and its various modules.
•Experience with application support and troubleshooting in a business environment.
•Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, and other relevant tools is a plus.
•Financial background would be an advantage
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to analyse complex business processes and identify areas for improvement.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
