Join Aston University’s Transformation Management Office at a pivotal time for digital and business change. As a Technical Business Analyst, you’ll bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, working closely with Digital Services to design, specify, and deliver robust systems and integrations that support Aston’s strategic goals.

What You’ll Do:

  • Analyse business processes and define technical requirements for new or improved systems.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and testing teams to ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional needs.
  • Document data flows, integration specifications, and produce prototypes to engage stakeholders.
  • Support projects through their lifecycle, from feasibility studies and business cases to benefits realisation.

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree-level education and experience in large-scale projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Ability to translate strategic drivers into technical and business requirements.
  • Familiarity with tools such as process modelling, requirements engineering, and benefit management.
  • Desirable: Experience with Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, Dynamics, and data integration projects.
