A major charity organization is seeking a Building Surveyor for a client-facing role in the South West of England. The successful candidate will manage surveying and project management for various properties, ensuring compliance with health and safety and legislative requirements. Responsibilities include property inspections and managing planned maintenance programmes. Candidates must have a relevant degree, RICS membership, and a valid driving license. Please note: In regards to the location of this role, this is a Peripatetic role where travel will be required across the South West of England. Would ideally suit someone near the Reading area.
Working hours: Minimum 35 hours per week,

As a Building Surveyor this client facing role will be providing a surveying and project management service to an occupied, mixed portfolio of houses, Churches, social centres, offices and charity shops. You will work primarily within a geographical patch proving surveying expertise and advice to internal customers of The Salvation Army, in turn supporting our work within local communities.
Key Responsibilities: The role carries a heavy emphasis on client relationships and coordination of property related activities and as such, good communication skills are essential as is the ability to simultaneously manage a large number of complex projects
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:
