Job description
Brain Injury Support Worker – Libertatem Healthcare

This role is for a proactive and compassionate support worker to assist a young woman with Cornelia de Lange Syndrome in Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire.

Pay

Base pay: £16.22‑£17.30 per hour. Pay will be based on skills and experience.

Working Hours

Part of a 24/7 care team with a rolling rota, you will be responsible for:

  • 1 x 12‑hour day shift per week
  • 1 x 24‑hour shift (day wake and night sleep)
  • 1 shift per week on a weekend
Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the client to access the local community
  • Providing emotional support and companionship
  • Engaging with personalised routines
  • Assisting with the care programme
  • Helping with household cleaning
  • Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in the client’s condition
  • Promoting and supporting a healthy diet
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure holistic and comprehensive care

Background Checks & Support

An enhanced DBS check and full training will be provided prior to starting work. You will also be supported by a Clinical Lead Nurse.
