Location: Bradford, Thornbury

Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00 or 09:30-17:30, plus alternate Saturdays, 9:00–17:00

Salary: £25,869 per annum

Start Dates: 2nd February 2026

The Opportunity

Join a dynamic team as a Billing Customer Service Advisor, where you'll handle a variety of billing queries from customers. From taking payments and updating account details to explaining bills and resolving more complex queries, you'll play a key role in ensuring customers receive the best possible service.

What You'll Do:
  • Respond to customer billing queries across multiple channels, providing reassurance and first‑time resolution
  • Update customer records accurately and efficiently
  • Identify and support vulnerable customers, tailoring solutions to their needs
  • Escalate complex queries appropriately to ensure speedy resolution
  • Contribute to team performance and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For:
Essential
  • Minimum 6 months' experience in a customer service environment
  • Good Maths & English skills (GCSE Level 4 or equivalent) - Essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to change
  • Strong IT skills and attention to detail
  • Motivated, resilient, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment

  • Previous contact centre experience
  • Negotiation and influencing skills
  • Experience supporting or training colleagues
Additional Information:
  • Successful candidates must be available for a 5‑week induction training programme (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm) from the start date.
  • Pre‑employment checks, including a Basic Disclosure Check, will be required.
