Qualifications

  • At least 3 years' experience in a Bids and Pursuits role, preferably in the legal industry.

We have a new opportunity fora Bids & Pursuits Advisor to join our growing national BusinessDevelopment, Marketing & Communications (BDM&C)team.

The BDM&C section is anational team, comprising specialists across all areas ofprofessional services BD, marketing and comms, including clientengagement, branding and design, bid management, copywriting, eventstrategy and planning, digital marketing and mediarelations.

This role will support theBids & Pursuits Manager on all bids and pursuits at Hall &Wilcox, including tenders, capability statements, proposals andother pitch documents and presentations.

This role can be based acrossany of our office locations, including Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane,Perth, Newcastle, Adelaide, Canberra and Darwin.

You will be responsiblefor:

  • tracking pipelineactivities, bid progress, win/loss trends and providinginsights and reporting to Senior Manager and Manager, asrequested;
  • end-to-end processmanagement of the tenders and proposals that are allocated toyou;
  • working with the Bids& Pursuits Manager to develop win themes and communicatingthese themes to the tender team;
  • undergoing a Bid/No-Bidprocess, as appropriate;
  • drafting, editing andproofing bid submissions, ensuring compliance and arrangingsubmission;
  • leading and implementingtimeline process with tender team, including instructingeveryone that is required to input in the tender;
  • providing coaching andmentoring to partners and tender teams for 'beauty paradepresentations' and any material required;
  • conducting debriefs onsubmissions;
  • transferring informationcollected during tender process to central documents (ContentLibrary, CRM) and arranging for updating of CVs, website, etc.Award/Directory submissions;
  • working with theCommunications and BD & Marketing teams on firm award andinternational directory submissions including liaising withrelevant partners and corporate services teams;
  • updating credentials andinformation collected during submission process on profiles,website, CVs and the CRM;
  • updating profiles,website and CVs of any award wins/directorylistings;
  • ensuring all bid content,including CVs, credentials and firm information, is updatedregularly and accessible / available to all that requireit;
  • ensuring correct filingof all completed bids;
  • contributing to BD,Marketing & Comms reports, as well as supporting thedelivery of the BD, Marketing & Comms strategic objectives;and
  • providing generalsupport, when required, to the Director of BD, Marketing &Communications and the wider BD, Marketing & Commsteam.
Aboutyou

You will ideally have thefollowing skills and experience:

  • at least 3 years'experience in a Bids and Pursuits Advisor or Coordinator roleor similar, preferably in the legal industry or professionalservices;
  • degree in Marketing,Business or related qualification;
  • demonstrated experienceas part of a Bids & Pursuits team, including projectmanagement, and a proven ability to successfully manage legalbid processes;
  • strong attention todetail;
  • strong knowledge ofMicrosoft Office suites (essential);
  • ability to multi-task andmeet tight deadlines;
  • strong organisationalskills;
  • proactive and strongproblem-solving abilities; and
  • ability to workautonomously and interact in a team environment.
