Cherry Wood House is looking to recruit a Bank Support Worker to join the team. This is a Bank role.
Cherrywood House is located in Weston-super-Mare, in North Somerset. Our home offers residential support to 11 adults who are on the autism spectrum or have a learning disability.
Set in its own grounds surrounded in woodland, the service is located in a quiet neighbourhood, within easy reach of the beach and local amenities.
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our resident wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As Bank Support Worker, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents.

NVQ2 in Health & Social Care or related area or equivalent or higher recognised qualification. GCSE or NVQ2 in English and Maths. N.B. It is not anticipated that all new recruits to the role will have NVQ2 qualification but will commence the attainment process within six months of joining and will have a specific time period in which to qualify.
Experience of working in a related environment is desirable.
