As we continue building and scaling high‑growth digital products, we are expanding our engineering team with a Backend Developer to help build reliable, scalable, and secure backend systems.

The Role

As a Backend Developer, you will design, build, and maintain backend services that power our products and internal platforms. You will work closely with Frontend, Mobile, Product, BI, and Infrastructure teams to deliver performant and scalable APIs and services used across multiple international markets.

You will take ownership from feature design → implementation → deployment → monitoring, contributing directly to the stability and scalability of our systems.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys backend architecture, data modeling, and building production‑grade systems in a fast‑moving, product‑driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
• Develop and optimize data models, queries, and database schemas
• Implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of backend systems
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code (unit, integration, and API tests)
• Monitor, debug, and resolve production issues
• Collaborate closely with frontend, mobile, and product teams to deliver features end‑to‑end
• Improve backend architecture, tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and system observability
• Contribute to infrastructure and deployment processes where needed

Job Requirements

Technical Must‑Haves

• 3–5+ years of experience as a Backend Developer
• Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript (NestJS preferred)
• Solid experience with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL)
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs (GraphQL is a plus)
• Experience with authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth)
• Familiarity with backend testing practices and frameworks
• Comfortable working with Git, pull requests, and code reviews

Soft Skills

• Ownership mindset — able to take backend features from idea to production
• Strong communicator — comfortable collaborating across teams
• Thrives in a fast‑paced, product‑oriented environment
• Proactive in improving code quality, performance, and system reliability

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
