Job description

The Backend developer’s main responsibility isbuilding the structure of a software application. The candidate must have agreat attention to detail and will be involved in trade-offs about how to meet the short and long term business goalsas weexpand our Engineering team. Alongside this a flare for learning and pushing for the business with a flare of entrepreneurship.

In this role, you will:

– Have commercial experience in building products with web technologies

– A good grasp of object-orientated programming and design patterns that avoid redundancy, promote developer efficiency, testability and maintainability.

– A desire to collaborate and innovate with other members of the team

– Good knowledge and experience of unit testing

– Experience in developing REST web services and APIs

– Delivering clean, elegant code including well-structured libraries
