Job Description

The Automotive Technical Trainer will successfully deliver a wide range of technical training to delegates in the dealer network. As part of the role, you will review delegate feedback and industry trends to ensure the quality of all training delivered.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver training courses & learning interventions covering all technical content.
  • Undertake design work as and when required that is learner‑focused and aligned to Industry Standards.
  • Utilise appropriate technology in the delivery of learning interventions, such as e‑learning and webinars.
  • Manage a personal schedule to capture planned commitments, ensuring all activity is effectively captured and tracked.
  • Complete all aspects of administration in relation to the role undertaken.
  • Ensure all evaluation documents and course administration are completed.
  • Align all delivery to the brand’s culture and requirements.
  • Perform all aspects of the role to the standards set out within yearly objectives and KPI/SLA.

Qualifications
  • Strong motor vehicle technical experience ideally to Master Technician level.
  • Experience of delivering face‑to‑face learning and development solutions to an industry‑leading standard.
  • Experience delivering a wide variety of technical training topics as specified in the job description.
  • Experience designing and developing training material that delivers strong performance against a range of measures.
  • Strong facilitation, assessment, and evaluation skills.
  • Ability to translate learning interventions and content in a way that links learning application to performance improvement.
  • Demonstrated understanding of L&D theory and best practice and its practical application in an L&D function.
  • Understanding of blended learning and its application.
  • Intermediate IT skills – all Microsoft Office packages.
