About the Role:

Responsibilities and Impact
  • Publish daily price assessments according to methodology.
  • Drive the development of new assessments in line with market developments.
  • Inform the market through regional price commentaries, news coverage, podcasts, and other digital content describing key fundamental market drivers moving prices.
  • Drive customer meetings to learn about important issues facing market participants and translate them into new products or adjustments to Platts offerings.
  • Work in partnership with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to Platts Editorial Standards.
  • Serve as an internal and external ambassador for Platts renewables offerings and ambition.
Basic Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Journalism, Economics, Environmental Science)
  • Strong analytical skills with a basic understanding of power markets and pricing mechanisms.
  • Familiarity with market analysis or reporting within the commodities sector is a plus (internships or academic projects).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel); experience with statistical analysis software is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
