We are recruiting for a new Associate Medical Director.

  • Deadline for applications: 3 August 2025

Location: Glasgow or Edinburgh base with hybrid working

Salary: current salary will apply

This role is a three-year secondment opportunity for up to three days (six sessions) per week.

The successful candidate will be pivotal in shaping the future of health and care in Scotland. This is a unique role and an exciting opportunity to be a medical leader in NHS Scotland.

The post holder will play a major role in ensuring we achieve our strategic objectives. We will need them to draw on extensive expertise to secure better outcomes for people accessing health and care in Scotland. You will contribute across all our areas of work, embedding high-quality medical expertise, clinical leadership, and ensuring our work is informed by the latest knowledge and intelligence.
