Responsibilities
  • Will be responsible for managing large and complex projects to ensure successful delivery to important clients.
  • Will have the opportunity to work on a huge portfolio of projects across the UK and worldwide, involving all kinds of buildings.
  • Proficient in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling and analysis for smoke movement.
  • Develop and use other forms of Computer Modelling software such as CFAST, Pyrosim and Pathfinder to provide alternative fire engineering solutions.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers and train graduates.
  • Maintain client-facing communications and address construction-related queries.
  • Take responsibility for business development and helping to grow the client base.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Background in fire engineering, preferably within a consultancy environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Ideally working toward Chartered engineer status
