The Opportunity

Responsibilities
  • Shape, develop and grow BeyondFS propositions.
  • Directly contribute to BeyondFS’ sales and business development through achieving your own targets.
  • Lead and deliver our complex transformation programmes, grow our client accounts.
  • Contribute towards recruitment objectives, and other people‑related activities.
  • Lead and manage internal projects.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years in financial services within banking and consulting, with exposure to a large range of products and geographies.
  • Proven experience in building, leading, developing and motivating technology teams in the financial crime space.
  • Experience in designing and delivering target‑state architectures that align with the business strategy and vision, including across the full enterprise scope – people, processes, data, applications, controls.
  • Acumen with the typical technologies and solutions used by 1st line financial crime, non‑financial regulatory, or closely associated operational functions.
  • Ability to evaluate technology solutions and understand if/how they can be optimised for greater performance and effectiveness.
  • An interest and practical understanding of emerging models and technologies and how they can be used to better detect and prevent financial crime, including how to secure confidence of key stakeholders and sponsors.
  • Demonstrable expertise in building and leading effective technology programmes, using varied methodologies and frameworks – from traditional to agile – that are most appropriate for the task at hand.
  • Deep understanding of how to effectively assess current technology, with a view to helping our clients to select and implement the most appropriate vendors and tools in the Financial Crime space.
  • Senior‑level stakeholder engagement, including C‑suite relationship building and sponsorship management.
  • Demonstrable sales origination and client development experience, including securing and expanding key accounts.
  • Track record in shaping and growing consulting practices, including go‑to‑market strategies and internal development.
  • Team leadership and people development, including coaching, training and recruiting consulting teams.
Skillset
  • Excellent communicator with a passion for unlocking the value of technology, able to effectively communicate complex ideas to non‑technical audiences.
  • Credible technology leader and strategist.
  • Technology programme management.
  • Expert in technical business analysis and requirements generation.
  • Proficient with key tools, frameworks, platforms, vendor solutions, e.g., Actimize, Fenergo, Quantexa, Atlassian, cloud, LLMs.
  • Enterprise architecture.
  • Financial Crime domain knowledge (TM, KYC, etc.), key regulatory frameworks, and typical money laundering typologies.
  • AI model and related technology design.
  • Model validation and explainability, including tuning, calibration, reporting.
  • Practical understanding of delivering change in complex, multi‑disciplinary environments.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive remuneration: base salary from £105k depending on experience, up to 10% sales bonus, up to 10% bonus based on company performance and up to 10% personal performance bonus (up to 30% in total).
  • Leave: 25 days holiday increasing by a day for each year in service to a total of 29 days (plus your birthday off).
  • Additional leave: you can buy extra days up to a maximum of 30 per year.

Location
