Overview

Associate CSA Project Manager - Data Centres Finland - in Country. Role description: Play a key role delivering tech sector mega-projects. You will play a key role in delivering one of our biggest data centre construction projects in Finland. You can be based either 100% in country, or there will be significant international travel to Finland.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all stages of hyperscale data centre construction projects, taking projects through pre-construction, construction, and close out/fit-up.
  • Pre-construction: work with the client and general contractor to create and establish the Master Project Schedule and Master Project Budget; support contractor pre-qualification, bid solicitation, bid analysis and recommendations; support contract negotiations; assist the client and the Client’s team in identifying, scoping, buying-out and scheduling of all Owner-direct vendors and consultants.
  • Construction: manage the General Contractor and other directly contracted vendors on the ground; coordinate Value Engineering efforts during the construction phase; work with the Client’s commercial and PCG team to develop Budget Management and Tracking; liaise with the Client’s schedule management team to provide schedule monitoring, tracking and analysis.
  • Close out / fit-up: initiate close out process prior to project completion (typically two to three months in advance); establish close out documentation requirements with the Client’s document controller; collect and track receipt of all close out documents (warranties, as-builts, O&M manuals, etc.); assist with city and/or other Authority final inspections and occupancy process; assist the Client in scheduling, coordination and management of all Owner-direct vendors and consultants.
Qualifications & Experience
  • An in-depth understanding of large-scale technical projects and construction techniques.
  • Ability to manage technical disciplines.
  • Experience working on Data Centre new build and refurbishment projects, preferably on hyperscale builds.
  • Ability to commit to significant international travel.
