About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Amazon Media Strategist to join our team. You’ll be instrumental in helping our clients grow their businesses on Amazon by building high-impact media plans, optimizing campaigns, and leveraging Amazon’s tools and data to drive results. You’ll serve as both a thought partner and tactical expert, guiding clients through the complexities of the Amazon ecosystem and ensuring their paid media efforts contribute to sustainable, scalable growth. You will be familiar with leveraging Amazon Marketing Cloud to uncover audience insights, optimize media performance, and inform data-driven campaign strategies, along with a solid understanding of the relationship between organic and sponsored listings on Amazon.

Role Requirements
  • Degree from an accredited 4-year college or international equivalent.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Amazon Sponsored Ads, DSP, and AMC.
  • Proven ability to develop and oversee holistic budget strategies across Sponsored Ads and DSP, aligning investment decisions with broader business objectives to maximize ROI and long-term growth.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort interpreting data to guide media planning decisions.
  • Proven expertise in architecting campaign structures that empower clients with greater control over how brands bid and appear in the auction, driving optimized visibility and conversion among high-intent audiences while maintaining operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Deep understanding of how Amazon’s algorithms work and how paid media and organic ranking influence each other to drive holistic growth strategies.
  • Experience using Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) for data analysis and audience segmentation.
  • Familiarity with essential Amazon ad tools and platforms (e.g., Pacvue, Perpetua, Skai, Quartile, M19, Jungle Scout, AdBrew, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of other retail media platforms is desirable but not required.
  • Interest in and knowledge of the beauty/skincare
    industry is desirable but not required.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Develop and own comprehensive Amazon media strategies across all media types.

Translate client goals into actionable, data-driven media plans.

Allocate and manage budgets to maximize efficiency and performance.

Campaign Execution & Optimization

Build, launch, and manage sophisticated campaign structures with ASIN-level granularity.

Continuously optimize campaigns based on performance data, audience signals, and other insights.

Leverage AMC data to identify audience insights and media opportunities.

Client Management & Communication

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on all Amazon media-related matters.

Educate clients on Amazon’s media ecosystem, tools, and best practices.

Present strategy recommendations, performance insights, and optimization plans with clarity and confidence.

Analytics & Reporting

Monitor campaign performance and generate regular, insightful reports that go beyond surface-level metrics.

Tie media performance to broader business objectives (e.g., sales growth, ROAS, Share of Voice).

Proactively identify trends, opportunities, and issues, and recommend next steps.

Tech & Tool Leadership

Evaluate and manage ad tech platforms and tools that support campaign management and reporting.
