Job Overview
We are delighted to offer an exciting locum opportunity for an experienced Assistant Team Manager to join the Disabilities and Mental Health Team in Wolverhampton. Key Responsibilities
Deliver a high-quality, responsive social work service to adults and carers
Provide effective managerial leadership, including supervision, appraisal, and performance management of staff
Offer professional advice, guidance, consultation, and coaching to team members
Manage day-to-day team operations, ensuring compliance with the Waiting Well Policy
Safeguard adults with care and support needs in line with statutory duties and best practice
Deputise for the Team Manager as required and contribute to service, policy, and practice development
Lead, motivate, and support staff while working collaboratively with other assistant team managers
Promote and embed strength-based practice across the service
