Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Assistant Management Accountant, ideally in manufacturing or FMCG.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• A self-starter with strong attention to detail and time management.

Job description

• Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and other key financial reports.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure payments to suppliers are processed on time and supplier accounts are reconciled.
• Help prepare tax returns, including VAT and other relevant filings.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accurate inventory and WIP valuation.
• Verify and reconcile stock, ensuring accurate valuations and addressing any discrepancies.
• Work closely with the Stock team to ensure system-to-floor checks, quarantine movement authorisations, and inventory audits are completed in line with company policies.
• Assist in the timely closing of accounts and preparation for audits.

What We’re Looking for:

• Previous experience as an Assistant Management Accountant, ideally within manufacturing, FMCG, or a similar industry.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems, Microsoft Excel skills, and the ability to analyse complex data. Training can be provided to the right candidate.
• A self-starter with attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with a team-focused attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
