Assistant Business Manager

Description

As an ambassador for REFY, the Assistant Business Manager will be at the forefront of bringing the REFY brand to life for our customers and employees. You will support the achievement of sales objectives, the excellence of our customer service and the implementation of the strategy set by Management, ensuring the highest standards across every touch point of the customer journey.

You will support the management, training and development of your team and put the customer relationship and experience at the heart of all your actions. This position requires flexibility and a keen interest in luxury beauty retail.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Leadership
  • Support the Business Manager in overseeing daily store operations to deliver a seamless, exceptional customer experience that reflects REFY’s brand values.
  • Ensure all retail standards, processes, and brand guidelines are consistently upheld to drive operational efficiency and brand consistency.
  • Utilise sales data and customer feedback to help inform decisions that enhance store performance and the customer journey.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, store management, and external retail partners to support the success of the counter.
Sales and Performance Management
  • Actively contribute to driving sales growth by supporting the execution of key initiatives that meet and exceed KPIs and sales targets.
  • Support the Business Manager in setting daily and weekly sales goals and inspiring the team to achieve them.
  • Help monitor inventory levels, stock rotation, and product availability in collaboration with stock teams to ensure the counter is always well merchandised.
Customer Engagement and Experience
  • Create a warm, welcoming, and engaging atmosphere on counter that brings the REFY brand to life and makes every customer feel part of the community.
  • Support the planning and delivery of in-store events and promotions to drive traffic and elevate the customer experience.
  • Proactively handle customer queries and feedback, ensuring all interactions are resolved professionally and in line with REFY’s service standards.
Team Development and Coaching
  • Support with onboarding, training, and mentoring team members, embedding REFY’s core values and tone of voice in daily activity.
    Help foster a supportive, inclusive, and positive team culture that encourages open communication and collaboration.
  • Assist in delivering regular performance feedback and coaching moments to support development and growth across the team.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
  • 1+ years experience in a management role in the retail industry
  • Experience of managing a team
