This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with solid experience and strong knowledge of SAGE to join a well-established organisation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of accounting, with a particular focus on improving and streamlining current processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations
  • Manage purchase and sales ledgers
  • Undertake credit control activities
  • Process supplier and customer payments
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns
  • Reconcile expenses and company credit cards
  • Manage petty cash transactions
  • Prepare stock reports
  • Process accruals, prepayments, deferred income, and monthly journals
  • Conduct financial analysis and cashflow forecasting
  • Respond to email queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Liaise effectively with business partners and internal stakeholders
  • Support with ad hoc accounting duties as required
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience in a similar Assistant Accountant or finance role
  • Proficient in SAGE and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
