Job title: Asset Management Operations Lead

Salary range: Up to £75,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance

About the Job:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a national Asset Management Operational Lead to join a growing Asset Management team, with a focus on providing strategic leadership across complex, multi-site portfolios.

This senior role is responsible for driving the operational delivery of large, diverse national portfolios across multiple clients, while also supporting business development and helping to shape future asset management strategy. The position requires strong leadership, commercial awareness and deep industry knowledge.

The role is ideally suited to candidates with experience across both residential and commercial portfolios, combined with a strong strategic asset management skillset.

The role can be based from Birmingham, with flexibility on office location due to the national nature of the position. Regular travel across sites will be required.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with senior leadership to raise technical standards across asset management delivery
  • Take accountability for technical standards, compliance and legislation
  • Drive performance against SLAs and KPIs, ensuring quality and consistency
  • Partner with client teams to manage budgets and commercial performance
  • Lead innovation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop new business opportunities
  • Produce resource plans, scopes and cost estimates for tender submissions
  • Provide sound advice and effective management to a wide range of property and private sector clients
  • Maintain accountability for financial performance and profitability of asset management contracts

About You:

  • MRICS qualified with significant experience in property and asset management
  • Proven strategic asset management background across complex portfolios
  • Track record of managing multiple sites and client relationships
  • Commercially astute with experience managing budgets and profitability
  • Confident leader with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Willing to travel nationally and hold a full, clean UK driving licence
