A leading assessment organization is seeking an experienced Assessment Writer to develop assessments for regulated Level 3 programmes. This remote role involves writing examination papers and coursework briefs, ensuring they meet UK academic standards. We are looking for experienced Assessment Writers to support the development of assessments for INTO Qualifications' regulated Level 3 programmes.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to qualifications that prepare international students for progression to undergraduate study. Working closely with the INTO Qualifications academic and quality team, you will help ensure that assessments are fair, rigorous, and aligned with UK academic standards.
You willbe responsible fordeveloping assessment materials in line with approved module specifications and learning outcomes. This includes writing examination papers and coursework briefs, ensuring clarity of language,appropriate levelof demand, and effective differentiation across grade boundaries. You will work within established assessment frameworks and quality assurance processes, responding to feedback and revisions whererequired.
The role requires a strong understanding of assessment design and academic integrity, as well as the ability to produce high quality work to agreed deadlines using structured templates andversion controlleddocumentation. Work is commissioned on a freelance basis and scheduled around the annual assessment development cycle.
Applicants should be confident guiding students through asmall scaleresearch process, refining a research question andlocatingand evaluating sources through to planning,draftingand editing an extended written project, and delivering a short academic presentation. Familiarity with basic research design, ethical practice, academicintegrityand reflective and professional skills development is important.
Experience of teaching and assessing within UK further education, pathway, foundation, or other regulated academic contexts.
Strong understanding of learning outcomes, marking criteria, and inclusive assessment design.
