A prominent leisure operator in Cambridge is seeking an Area Swim School Lead Teacher to oversee and develop swim school programmes. This role involves managing and mentoring swimming teachers, ensuring high-quality lesson delivery, and driving customer satisfaction. GLL is looking for an Area Swim School Lead Teacher to work across centres in Cambridge. This role is more than a job – it’s a career. You will act as the link between our customers, swimming teachers and the leisure centre team. You will be responsible for the centre’s swim school programmes, including school swimming and all other swim school course products. This key role provides technical support to the centre teams to ensure the smooth running of the lessons and a high‑quality, consistent level of customer service. Your role will bring organisation and structure to the swim schools as you develop a plan to manage the programme, lead and inspire your swimming teachers, and grow the income and number of pupils learning to swim. This role offers a real opportunity to affect positive change and get close to GLL’s National Aquatics Team.
This is a part‑time, permanent role. Hours will be negotiated in line with the needs of the service; flexible working may be possible. Working from home is not possible.
