Role Relationships
  • The WCS Credit team, WCS Portfolio Manager and the WCS Origination team.
  • On a day‑to‑day basis the Analyst will work directly with the broader WCS and Credit teams in London and the WCS team in the United States.
Role Responsibilities

To provide support to the WCS Origination and Credit team in the origination and underwriting of new investments for the WCS strategy and the monitoring of the WCS portfolio.

Origination
  • Assist in reviewing new investment opportunities.
  • Attend Initial Review Committee meetings.
  • Assist with the negotiation, structuring and documentation of investments, due diligence meetings.
  • Participate in weekly WCS pipeline meetings.
  • Maintain relationships with selected corporates, platforms and relevant banks and intermediaries.
Credit
  • Assist with completion of credit due diligence (meetings, visits, calls with management/third parties).
  • Prepare credit/financial analysis, cash flow projections and other relevant technical models
  • Prepare internal credit ratings for non‑externally rated companies.
  • Draft Independent Credit Assessment and review Investment Memorandum papers.
  • Present semi‑annual credit reviews and credit assessments at Credit Committees.
  • Prepare Credit Committee minutes.
  • Ensure Credit Alerts are monitored for all WCS investment portfolio names. Assist with monitoring of excesses, late payments and financial reporting from corporates. Ensure that credit reviews are managed effectively.
  • Process waivers and amendments.
  • Assist with WCS portfolio monitoring, including economic, business, and legal environment.
  • Ensure credit rating tracker sheet and review schedule is updated in a timely manner.
  • Ensure quarterly results are obtained according to release schedule, are reviewed and documented.

Work Experience & Qualifications
  • Strong undergraduate degree / post‑graduate qualification in a relevant subject.
  • Minimum of one years of relevant work experience in Credit.
  • Strong Excel modelling skills.
  • Previous experience in the WCS sector and/or products is desirable but not a pre‑requisite.
  • Fluency in English is required; other European languages are desirable.
  • Based in London, occasional travel.
