Advanced Nurse Practitioner Post

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our progressive and supportive team.

About Us
  • Single-site practice with a patient population of approximately 10,000
  • Team includes 3 GP Partners and 4 Salaried GPs
  • Well‑established acute care team
  • Supportive and experienced administrative and nursing staff
  • Encouragement and support for developing special interests
Role Overview

As an ANP, you will work autonomously and collaboratively within our multidisciplinary team to provide high‑quality care to patients. You will assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions and contribute to the ongoing development of clinical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently assess, triage and manage patients presenting with undifferentiated and diagnosed conditions
  • Prescribe medications appropriately as an Independent Prescriber
  • Initiate and interpret test results
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
Working Hours
  • Full‑time or Part‑time hours
  • Support for postgraduate education, including MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice and Independent Prescribing qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
  • Registered Nurse with active NMC registration
  • MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent Level 7 qualification
  • Experience in primary care and autonomous clinical decision‑making
