Position Overview

Crux is on the lookout for talented Advanced Mechanical Engineers. We love to solve the hardest technical problems and see the impact it makes. At Crux, our Advanced Mechanical Engineers work on multidisciplinary projects in medical device development, sustainability, consumer goods and beyond. As part of our team, you will work directly with multinational “household name” clients on projects requiring design, prototyping, analysis and testing and will support the wider Crux team through leadership in your areas of expertise.

What We’re Looking For
Essential
  • A strong First classification in a relevant accredited degree program.
  • 3+ years of experience in a hands-on engineering role with demonstrable achievements.
  • Experience and enthusiasm for engineering design.
  • Strong mathematical skills and ability to apply “first principles” to problems.
  • Knowledge of engineering materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Hands-on experimental and/or prototyping skills.
  • Meticulous attention to technical and written detail.
  • Ability to build relationships and work with teams and clients.
Desirable
  • Experience in the design of injection moulded assemblies
  • Experience in a consultancy environment.
  • Experience in the medical, pharma or health industries.
