A leading finance company in Manchester is seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Clerk to join their Finance team. You'll manage the purchase and payables accounting cycle, ensuring accurate recognition of supplier costs. Responsibilities include processing invoices, liaising with suppliers, and supporting audit queries. This role requires experience in an Accounts Payable role, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft 365. We’re looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual ready to take the next step in their finance career by joining our Manchester-based Finance team.
As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a key role within the Management Accounts team, managing the purchase and payables accounting cycle. You’ll be responsible for ensuring supplier costs are accurately recognised across the Group in line with our Group Financial Controls Policy (GFCP). This includes processing invoices through our approval systems, liaising with internal cost managers and external suppliers, and setting up supplier payments for all Group entities.
You’ll report directly to the Transactional Finance Manager and work closely with colleagues across all departments, building effective relationships internally and externally.
