Account Manager

Overview

Location: Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom

We are hiring for an Account Manager role. This position involves developing relationships with clients, identifying sales opportunities, and supporting the delivery of sales targets for regional business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Visit end customers and companies; establish, maintain and update customer files in the database system
• Develop and maintain public relationships; build reliable relationships with clients
• Spot business opportunities and follow up with orders
• Collect project information and promote sales; analyze competitor information
• Develop sales and implementation plans; achieve sales targets
• Participate in commercial negotiations for key projects to ensure regional objectives are met
• Support financing and collection work

Qualifications

• Familiar with local market; knowledge of construction machinery or heavy machinery (e.g., Excavator, Mobile Crane, Concrete, Tower Crane, Forklift, Foundation, Aerial Work Machinery, Mining, etc.) preferred
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, mechanical/electrical engineering, international business, English or related field
• Ability to coordinate with leasing is preferred
• Strong sense of responsibility and good communication skills
• Driver’s license required
