Location: Bournemouth office 3-5 days per week, up to 2 days remote working.

Hours: Monday to Friday (with flexi-time and hybrid working options).

Salary: Subject to experience + OTE.

Role Description:

Due to growth in the existing customer base and some exciting new client wins Appius are on the hunt for an Account Manager to join their Digital Results Team. We need someone who can hit their ground running so this role would be best suited to an existing Account Manager or Senior Account Manager. Based in the THIS Workspace offices, in the heart of Bournemouth town centre, our 40 person team operate a hybrid in office / remote working model with plenty of social events.

Working directly for the Digital Results Director and supported by a team of Account Managers you will be working on an exciting and diverse portfolio of accounts from the world of finance & insurance, travel & leisure, professional services and charity & not for profit. Appius work with brands that need more than brochureware from their agency, and we are looking for an AM with a strategic mind to work with our experienced team of specialists on programs of genuine digital transformation. Curious and consultative by nature, we are looking for an individual with a passion solving brand challenges, and ensuring that our solutions and services are always delivering value and results.

Skills and Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in digital, preferably within an agency environment
  • Broad knowledge of Experience Platforms, UX & Design processes and Digital Marketing techniques
  • Confident communicator and presenter, able to inspire both internal and external stakeholders of all seniorities to buy in to your ideas
  • Experience in managing and inputting into tender and pitch processes.
  • Great problem solving and negotiation skills, able to confidently discuss commercials and close new opportunities
  • Ability to create engaging sales and presentation materials in Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent customer service skills combined with proven success in retaining and growing customers through pro-active management and ideas
  • Ability to spot new requirements and turn these into business cases for customers and briefs for the team
Role and Responsibilities
  • Work with the account managers to develop business across a portfolio of clients. Fully owning the digital roadmap, annual budgeting & forecasting and sales pipeline
  • Develop close working relationships with the senior leadership teams on your key accounts, understand their business objectives, and deliver digital strategy and consultancy
  • Deliver regular digital strategy reviews looking at competitors, sector best practices and pro-active ideas to solve your customers challenges and deliver better results
  • Support the new business sales process from lead qualification through to close
  • Support the generation of new leads through networking, content marketing, event attendance and word of mouth referrals from your customer base
  • Document and communicate customer success stories through case studies and results reporting
  • Create strong relationships with our technology partners
  • Expand and grow existing relationships with large corporate customers through introducing them to new service offerings, reaching new decision makers and departments, and creating compelling business cases for wider investment
