Job description

At Hudl, we build great teams. We hire the best of the best to ensure you’re working with people you can constantly learn from. You’re trusted to get your work done your way while testing the limits of what’s possible and what’s next. We work hard to provide a culture where everyone feels supported, and our employees feel it—their votes helped us become one of Newsweek's Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces.

We think of ourselves as the team behind the team, supporting the lifelong impact sports can have: the lessons in teamwork and dedication; the influence of inspiring coaches; and the opportunities to reach new heights. That’s why we help teams from all over the world see their game differently. Our products make it easier for coaches and athletes at any level to capture video, analyze data, share highlights and more.

Your Role

We’re looking for a Account Executive II to drive revenue and expand our footprint across the U.K. rugby landscape and elite sport universities. You’ll be the face of Hudl for organizations like the RFU, SRU and WRU, as well as top-tier institutions like Loughborough and Cardiff Metropolitan.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Own your territory. Build and execute a Territory Success Plan to surpass aggressive revenue goals. Identify the best Hudl packages for each client, maximizing deal value through effective negotiation and a focus on long‑term profitability.
  • Build elite relationships. Have high‑level conversations with athletic directors, head coaches and executives. You’re not just selling a product; you’re setting expectations and providing the resources—like expert chats and tutorials—that help customers succeed.
  • Master the stack. Maintain a precise Salesforce pipeline, forecast revenue weekly with accuracy. Know your numbers MTD, YTD and annually, ensuring management always has a clear picture of your wins and losses.
  • Thrive on the front lines. Gather market feedback and competitive insights to share with stakeholders across Hudl. Whether it's through “tales from the road” or 1‑on‑1s, your input will help shape our future product strategy.

For this role, we’re currently considering candidates who live within a commuting distance of our offices in London. But with our flexible work policy, there are no current requirements for the number of days you come to the office.

Must‑Haves
  • Experienced. 3+ years of proven sales experience (or 2+ years of internal Hudl sales experience with a track record of hitting 120% of your quota). Expert at navigating the full sales stack, including Salesforce and Outreach.
  • Rugby and market expert. Deep knowledge of the U.K. rugby market and the university sports landscape. Translate complex client needs into complete solutions that help teams win.
  • A skilled negotiator. Comfortable with prospecting, objection handling and closing high‑value deals. Drive a sale forward while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and payment collection.
Nice‑to‑Haves
  • Technical proficiency. Familiarity with Hudl Sportscode or general video editing skills is a plus.
  • Challenger mindset. Trained in or practiced the Sales Challenger methodology.
  • Willingness to hit the road. Comfortable with up to 25% travel to visit clients at tournaments, coaching clinics and on‑site meetings.
Our Role
  • Champion work‑life harmony. Flexibility you need in your work life—flexible vacation time above statutory leave, company‑wide holidays, timeout days, remote work options and more.
  • Guarantee autonomy. Open, honest culture and trust from day one. Own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
  • Encourage career growth. Lifelong learning culture, resources and opportunities to keep growing.
  • Provide an environment to help you succeed. Invested offices and tech support for both office and remote work.
  • Support your wellbeing. Medical and retirement benefits where applicable, plus the Employee Assistance Program and employee resource groups.
