An inclusive community organization based in Greater London is seeking an Accessible IT Support Trainer to provide IT training and guidance to individuals with sensory loss. The role involves assessing needs, managing volunteers, and delivering accessible technology support. This part-time position offers a competitive salary and requires excellent communication skills and proficiency with various IT software. A commitment to community service and an understanding of the challenges faced by blind or partially sighted individuals are essential.
Salary: £16,000 – £17,000k per annum pro-rata (depending on experience)
Hours: Part time – 17.5 hours per week, (flexible days – onsite and home visits) fixed term contract 2.5 years
Benefits: Government pension scheme, flexible working hours, onsite parking, holiday entitlement 25 days pro rata.

You must have excellent communication and people skills along with previous experience using Accessible software. To provide IT training and advice and guidance to visually impaired people in their homes or at the Guardian Centre. To advise and train visually impaired people in the use of specialist accessible software and specialist features of mainstream technology. To manage, develop and deliver the Train the trainer scheme to volunteers. Maintaining sufficient volunteers to meet the increased Digital Demand.
