As Academic Compliance Administration Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the University’s academic governance and compliance operations.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with detail and is passionate about contributing to the integrity of academic processes.

In this role you will:

  • Assist with a range of academic processes including student progression, final grades, fee remissions, and international student enrolments.
  • Provide administrative support to academic governance committees, including preparing agendas, drafting minutes and reports, and maintaining documentation and templates.
  • Support the implementation of various legislative frameworks including HESF, ESOS and National Code by maintaining accurate records and monitoring compliance activities.

This continuing position is full time and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal land).

You will have:

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage high volumes of administrative tasks with precision and efficiency.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience working to relevant legislation and frameworks, ideally within a higher education context.
  • An understanding or familiarity with the ESOS Act and university policies and procedures is highly regarded.
