Job description

Role Title: 7.5T Driver

Location: Totton (New Forest Hire)

Salary: £30,159 (Full time)

Hours: 47.5 per week (Monday to Friday 7:30am to 5pm with a 30 min unpaid lunch break and every other Saturday morning 7:30am to 12:30pm)

About the Role

Our drivers are the face of our business and are on the frontline when it comes to our customers. We are looking for a reliable and proactive 7.5T Driver to join our team at New Forest Hire in Totton. This is a role is a key part in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our valued key account customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 7.5T vehicle to deliver and collect machinery
• Compile customer orders with accuracy and efficiency
• Provide general support the team
• Assist with loading/unloading vehicles and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and company procedures at all times

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Valid 7.5T driving license with CPC and Tacho Card.
• Previous experience in driving a 7.5T
• Forklift license is desirable but not essential – training can be provided
• Good attention to detail and time management skills
• Team player with a positive and flexible attitude
