Job description
Specialist Occupational Therapist (EGPP)

We are delighted to advertise this exciting opportunity for a band 6 Occupational Therapist in the Edinburgh Memory Assessment and Treatment Service (MATS).

This is a new permanent post, working alongside our established Specialist OT in this service. We are looking to further develop the role of Occupational Therapy in assessing those with memory and cognitive changes and providing early specialist OT intervention. The successful candidate will work alongside OT, nursing and medical colleagues in MATS, and the Occupational Therapy teams in the Older People’s Community Mental Health Teams.

You will be passionate about our profession and committed to working with people experiencing cognitive difficulties, to ensure that Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment is carried out as early in the person’s journey as possible. Job share will be considered.
