We are seeking a Project Procurement Manager to join our Project Procurement Team, Espoo. This is a temporary position (parental leave) until the end of 2025.

What you’ll do

1. Operate on the existing Procurement plan basis and apply that to the projects
2. Prepare and file the project-specific purchasing documentation
3. Update and maintain the Project Procurement Plan and Project Savings Report
4. Compile Sourcing rules in Supplier selections and adhere to existing Product Procurement Plans
5. Prepare and lead the bidding process and compile the bid evaluations
6. Manage project-specific purchase negotiations
7. Secure the Metso favorable commercial terms & conditions in project purchase contracting
8. Manage claims and guarantee-related issues
9. Report the supplier's performance

Who you are

1. You have an academic background in a technical or economic discipline (Bachelor´s or Master’s degree)
2. Work experience in procurement and/or sourcing
3. Solid business and industry understanding
4. Good contractual skills
5. Profound knowledge of supply processes and practices
6. Strong communication and negotiating skills
7. Ability to work with Metso core systems (SAP, Enovia, Sievo)
8. A good command of English is essential; Finnish and additional language skills would be an asset
