Job description

We’re looking for a Data Architect to join our fast-growing team and create world-class digital products and data-driven solutions for our customers.

You’ll get to work on challenging projects in interesting industries and domains using the latest methods and technologies. You’ll work closely with the clients and your teammates to give input into projects and shape the final solution.

You are a data architect looking to push the envelope and keep evolving your skills. You want to work with peers skilled in their own areas of expertise – data engineers, data scientists, BI developers, software developers, designers, etc. – to create data solutions that are more than a sum of their parts.

As part of us, you will:

1. Work with highly skilled data engineers, architects, developers, and designers to create data solutions for our clients. You will assist clients in defining solution requirements, modeling data, and developing scalable data pipelines, collaboratively shaping the final outcome with them.
2. Advise clients on technology choices and collaborate on defining overall solution architectures.
3. Lead teams and define ways of working.

We truly value hands-on experience in developing solutions and the ability to work in different roles from leading workshops to writing code.

We are looking for a skilled collaborator looking to learn more and help others learn and who already has experience in:

1. Data modeling (dimensional modeling, Data Vault).
2. Data governance.
3. Azure, AWS or GCP.
4. Strong knowledge of SQL, proficiency in programming with Python.
5. ETL/ELT, data lakes, data warehouses, data lakehouses.
6. Modern cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric/Synapse.
7. Real-time data integrations, IoT & Edge solutions.
8. DevOps/DataOps, IaC, CI/CD pipelines.
9. Project management frameworks and methodologies such as agile, scrum, kanban.
10. Ability and willingness to learn new data and software development technologies and methods.
11. Shared collaboration: You share what you learn, help others, learn from your peers, and ask for help when you need it.
12. Fluency in Finnish (required) and English.
