Your mission:

As Business Development Director, you are responsible for client acquisition and the development of ongoing client relationships at our premium clients in the region. Your experience in selling in the IT-Service industry in the German market creates added value for our clients and ensures Wipro’s standing in the market. The ideal candidate would have strong business acumen and a keen sense for the latest developments and trends in the market. Furthermore, you will evaluate the market, analyze client needs, develop business plans, initiate, and close business deals.

Your tasks:

1. The main focus is the acquisition of new clients across the German market in the Automotive sector.
2. Nurturing and growth of existing relationships.
3. Market analysis regarding new business and expansion opportunities.
4. Benchmarking with competition as well as reporting and forecasting.
5. Ramp-up planning and launch of new projects.
6. Position Wipro as an IT partner of choice among key customers in the market.

Your qualification:

1. Minimum 10+ years’ experience, with at least 5 years’ experience as a Sales Executive in the IT sector.
2. Experience handling larger outsourcing engagements within the IT-Service industry (pre-sales or sales phase) with a focus on France-based customers, preferably in the Automotive industry.
3. Proven track record of sales successes.
4. Project Management experience.
5. Willingness to travel.
6. Open, communicative, and team-oriented.
7. Self-reliant and compelling.
8. Analytic and conceptual frame of mind.
9. Goal-oriented and resilient.
10. Business fluent in English and German.
11. Well networked at the CXO layers of customer organizations in the German market.
