Your responsibilities:
Overall estimation of ship cost and proposing ship price to Head of Department, Sales Manager and Sales Director
Plausibility check of costs and prices across different projects and ships
Cost indicators and sales related KPIs
Internal/external price presentations
Preparation and proposal of budget strategy
Establishing the Cost Engineering and cost awareness
Leading internal and external cost process - full product cost insights
Support cost evaluation of large AOMs
Part of project team and closely connected to controlling
What we expect:
An applicable technical, economical or business administration background (e.g. M.Sc./B.Sc. or M.Eng./B.Eng.) and a wide view of the current market as well as general knowledge of ships and systems
Cost competence and analytical skills
Generalist within MEYER organization
Product, industry and cluster insights
Flexible, team and customer oriented
Good verbal and written skills in English language are also essential, as well as good co-operation and presentation skills
You show self-initiative and work independently in a solution-oriented manner
