Cost Engineer (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

• Overall estimation of ship cost and proposing ship price to Head of Department, Sales Manager and Sales Director
• Plausibility check of costs and prices across different projects and ships
• Cost indicators and sales related KPIs
• Internal/external price presentations
• Preparation and proposal of budget strategy
• Establishing the Cost Engineering and cost awareness
• Leading internal and external cost process - full product cost insights
• Support cost evaluation of large AOMs
• Part of project team and closely connected to controlling

What we expect:

• An applicable technical, economical or business administration background (e.g. M.Sc./B.Sc. or M.Eng./B.Eng.) and a wide view of the current market as well as general knowledge of ships and systems
• Cost competence and analytical skills
• Generalist within MEYER organization
• Product, industry and cluster insights
• Flexible, team and customer oriented
• Good verbal and written skills in English language are also essential, as well as good co-operation and presentation skills
• You show self-initiative and work independently in a solution-oriented manner
