Guardian Glass is seeking you to become our next Production Shift Supervisor at our Float Glass Facility in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

As a Production Supervisor, you are responsible for developing your team into a high-performing unit while advancing our vision and culture. You will recognize the unique skillsets of your team members and align them to create personal fulfillment and value for the company.

The Production Supervisor also supervises and coordinates production efforts to improve processes including Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), compliance, reliability, quality, production, and costs.

This role works a rotating shift pattern.

You will join a team of shift managers, department managers, supervisors, and process engineers that collaborate daily to strategize priorities.

The Production Supervisors foster a one-team mentality, focusing on their direct reports and workforce. They encourage challenge, open communication, and expect leadership support and feedback.

You will be part of the Float Line Team, working closely with Operations and Engineering teams, dedicated to maintaining high standards of efficiency and quality while fostering collaboration and innovation.

• Lead an operational team (8-10 employees) in a safe and efficient manner, taking ownership of safety, quality, and productivity.
• Promote safety excellence through employee involvement, ownership, and accountability, providing meaningful safety training.
• Facilitate team development, communication, problem-solving, and employee engagement.
• Monitor product quality and guide the team to maximize efficiency.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and direction to employees.
• Assist with troubleshooting production issues.
• Complete data entry and generate reports efficiently.
• Conduct annual performance reviews and support individual development cycles.
• Understand decision costs and their impact on departments.
• Meet or exceed KPI goals by measuring and improving processes.
• Coordinate with other departments and managers as a team.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related field.
• Experience in an operations environment.
• Technical and mechanical aptitude for manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in English communication.
• Experience in driving change and transformation.
• Ability to articulate ideas clearly to diverse audiences.

• Demonstrated managerial skills.
• Experience leading or participating in continuous improvement projects.
