We are seeking a Senior Product Manager (P4) to lead our Integrated Provider Experience initiative, expanding the reach of Datavant’s ROI and other offerings. This is a strategic, high-visibility role shaping one of Datavant’s most important provider-facing initiatives. You will independently own the roadmap and strategy for this domain, balancing near-term execution with long-term vision. You’ll partner across product, engineering, operations, compliance, GTM, and—critically—external stakeholders including external partners and provider customers. You’ll be expected to work weekly with these partners, representing Datavant in joint planning, troubleshooting, and solution design sessions. This role requires someone who thrives in complex, regulated, multi-stakeholder environments and who can operate with a high degree of independence. You’ll generate new ideas, influence senior stakeholders inside and outside the company, and mentor other product managers—all while consistently delivering customer-facing impact.

• Own strategy and roadmap: Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for Datavant’s integrated provider experiences across several products, balancing short-term feature delivery with a 12+ month vision.
• Engage partners and customers directly: Serve as the primary product representative with external partners and provider customers, leading weekly check-ins, discovery sessions, and roadmap alignment discussions.
• Deliver customer impact: Launch and scale features that provide measurable value for providers, partners, and requesters, while strengthening Datavant’s competitive position in the market.
• Drive complex execution: Manage multiple high-complexity features and cross-pod workstreams, with dependencies spanning product, engineering, operations, compliance, GTM, and external partners.
• Deep workflow design: Map and refine end-to-end provider and requester workflows, ensuring digital-first fulfillment with minimal exceptions.
• Cross-functional leadership: Partner with senior stakeholders across Legal, Finance, Operations, and GTM to align on goals and secure resources for execution.
• Mentorship and team development: Serve as a role model for the product organization, mentoring other PMs and strengthening product management practices across the team.
• Market orientation: Incorporate market and competitive insights into strategy, ensuring Datavant maintains and grows differentiation.

• You prefer to work only internally—this role requires frequent direct engagement with healthcare providers and tech partners.
• You avoid ambiguity or hesitate to take ownership in environments where not everything is fully defined.
• You prefer incremental improvements over solving highly complex, regulated problems that require cross-company alignment.
• You are uncomfortable being accountable for execution across teams you don’t directly manage.

• Learn the fundamentals of Datavant’s ROI fulfillment model and how embedded integrations reshape provider experience. Develop a deep understanding of products.
• Build relationships with provider customers and partner teams through active participation in weekly joint sessions.
• Ship Phase 1 of the Provider Integrated Experience, delivering immediate value to providers.
• Kick off discovery for Phase 2, shaping the next stage of workflow enhancements and scaling opportunities.

• Experience: 8+ years in product management with a proven track record of owning strategy and execution in complex, high-stakes environments. Healthcare tech or regulated industries strongly preferred.
• Partner & customer engagement: Strong experience working directly with enterprise partners and end customers; capable of driving alignment, resolving conflicts, and representing product strategy externally.
• Workflow rigor: Ability to design and refine complex workflows end-to-end, surfacing gaps before they become issues.
• Execution excellence: Skilled in project management, coordinating across diverse stakeholders, and building processes that enable fast, high-quality execution.
• Strategic leadership: Ability to independently define 6–12 month product goals, align cross-functional stakeholders, and influence senior leadership.
• Self-driven ownership: Operates with high independence, proactively driving work forward without heavy direction.
• EHR expertise a plus: Experience with EHR-integrated applications (e.g., SmartApp, FHIR, APIs) or related healthcare interoperability solutions.
• Mentorship: Demonstrated ability to mentor other PMs and strengthen product practices across a team.
