The NEC4 ECC Assistant Project Supervisor

The NEC4 ECC Assistant Project Supervisor will provide support to the NEC4 ECC Project Supervisor in overseeing all construction assurance activities for the Scheme, ensuring that works carried out by the Design and Build Contractor are efficient, effective, and comply with established standards, specifications, regulatory requirements and contract requirements. The role includes monitoring works, witnessing testing, checking compliance with the scope, and ensuring all works align with the quality defined in the scope and specifications documents.

As a NEC4 ECC Assistant Supervisor at Arup, you will:
  • Have 5+ years of experience in construction management/supervision on road/infrastructure projects including reinforced concrete structures.
  • Have land survey experience with setting out.
  • Have demonstrated experience and knowledge in delivering engineering solutions and results in dynamic urban environments, ensuring compliance with Works Requirements and Road Specifications.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications and other project tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a collaborative culture across project teams.
  • Ability to govern and drive outcomes to ensure high quality service delivery.
  • Ability to deal with and resolve unforeseen risks and issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a challenging environment.
Education and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or equivalent).
  • Safepass accreditation is desirable.
  • Chartered / Incorporated / Associate Engineer of a relevant professional body is desirable.
