A leading multidisciplinary consultancy in Ireland is seeking a Bridge Engineer for their Dublin office. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in bridge design and a recognized qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering. OCSC, Ireland’s leading award-winning multidisciplinary consultancy has an opportunity for a Bridge Engineer in our Dublin Office. The role would suit a motivated, practical and adaptable individual who has the ambition to work in a progressive and innovative design consultancy.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
• A recognised qualification in Civil / Structural Engineering.
• Have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience preferably in bridge design environment.
• Experience in leading bridge design to current Standards, including the Eurocodes, the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB).
• Inspection of bridge assets to the Eirspan Bridge Management System or similar.
• Production of technical reports.
• Preparation of specifications and contract documents.
• Good Project Management experience.
• Be a Chartered Engineer of a recognised institution.
• Experience in developing and management of Junior Engineers.
• FE Modelling experience
• Knowledge of a variety of materials
• A full clean driving license.
