Job summary
A leading scientific organization in East Grinstead is seeking an Apprenticeship position in Quality Control. The role requires maintaining laboratory functions, testing raw materials, and performing general laboratory maintenance. Candidates should have at least 5 GCSEs including English and Maths and strong attention to detail. An apprenticeship in Applied Science will be provided, combining online learning and practical training.
Qualifications
- 5 GCSE's including English, Maths, and Science.
- A Level's preferred but not essential.
- High attention to detail and team collaboration required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare bacterial cultures for quality control.
- Test product accessories like Dosing Heads.
- Manufacture agar media and monitor lab stock.
- Conduct environmental monitoring in production areas.
- Keep the laboratory tidy and perform equipment calibration.
- Dispose of waste and perform other laboratory duties.
